Chi Duc conducts research on second language acquisition, particularly incidental learning of new vocabulary and grammar knowledge through meaning-focused input and output activities as well as language testing and assessment, with a special focus on validation of standardized language tests. He now ventures into the field of language teacher identity. His work has appeared in journals such as TESOL Quarterly, Language Teaching Research and RELC. She also conceptualized and helmed the Humanities Scholarship Programme for higher ability students. Her most recent experience includes preparing and delivering academic and general English lessons to support low proficiency ESL students in their study of IB Science and Humanities subjects in an international school in Singapore.
