The Master of Teaching English to Speakers of Other Language (MTESOL)

 

 

The Master of Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (MTESOL), offered in collaboration with Victoria University of Wellington, commenced on 24 February 2025 at SEAMEO RELC. Designed for English language educators seeking to enhance their expertise, the one-year program combines face-to-face learning in Singapore for the first two trimesters with an online final trimester completed in participants’ home countries.

With a focus on classroom teaching, assessment, and curriculum design, the program equips educators with the skills to develop effective teaching materials, assess student progress, and conduct research in language education. 7 participants from Cambodia, Myanmar, Thailand, and Vietnam are engaging in this transformative learning journey, strengthening their professional competencies and contributing to the advancement of English language teaching in their regions.
