C111: Teaching Listening and Speaking in the Classroom

 

 

Some 20 educators from 10 SEAMEO member countries participated in Course C111: Teaching Listening and Speaking in the Classroom, held from 7 to 24 January 2025 in Singapore. Conducted fully in person, the three-week course deepened participants’ understanding of key theories and principles in teaching listening and speaking. Through interactive discussions and hands-on lesson development, educators explored effective strategies, sub-skills, and challenges in teaching these essential language skills. Beyond the classroom, participants forged strong professional connections and shared diverse perspectives, enriching their learning experience.
