Who we are?
As part of the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organisation (SEAMEO), Regional Language Centre (RELC) is a premium platform in the Southeast Asian region.
As this region grows rapidly, language plays an integral role in leadership development among language professionals in the region and beyond. The realization that English is a language that Southeast Asia cannot afford to ignore, particularly because of its importance in facilitating economic development, has led RELC to take more interest in training, not just for language educators, but also for key personnel in various sectors of the public and private service. RELC thus offers itself as a Centre of Choice for language educators and other professionals who wish to benefit from high quality customized training which will meet their academic and professional needs.
Why RELC?
Development through language education
SEAMEO RELC has been established with the intention to raise the standards of teaching and learning of the English language in the countries of Southeast Asia. With this longstanding presence of 50 years, SEAMEO RELC has established strong and reputable partnerships internationally to provide quality language programmes with cultural exposure and awareness.
