RELC Examinations Bureau (RELC EB) has been appointed by Cambridge Assessment Admissions Testing to administer Test of Mathematics for University Admission for candidates currently attending or have graduated from a school/college/polytechnic in Singapore.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

♦ Universities and Colleges Admissions Service application (UCAS) is required for candidates wishing to apply to Universities that

accept TMUA results.

♦ Candidates must submit UCAS application prior to registering for Test of Mathematics for University Admission, as the UCAS

Personal ID is used in matching candidates to their Universities application.

♦ For 03 and 04 November, it is not possible to accommodate candidates registering for two tests that fall on the same day.

♦ Candidates do have the option to register for one test on each of the two days. (i.e. one paper on 03 November and another paper on 04 November)

♦ Candidates may access the TMUA computer-based demonstration test to familiarise themselves with the platform functionality . Click here to access the instructions and try the demo test.

01 September 2021 to 29 September 2021	Standard Entry Payment must be made first via a physical AXS station, prior to submitting the Online Registration Form. After payment, the Online Registration Form must then be submitted to RELC EB by the next day.
27 September 2021	LAST DAY for Modified Question Paper Request Candidate has to submit their Access Arrangement Request for Enlarged Question Paper with supporting document by this date.
30 September 2021	One Day before Closing of Standard Entry Payment for Standard Entry must be made first via a physical AXS station before 11.30pm Singapore time, on this date. After payment, the Online Registration Form must be submitted to RELC EB no later than 12.00pm Singapore time, on 01 October 2021.
01 October 2021	LAST DAY of Standard Entry & Access Arrangement Request Email to RELC EB before 11.00am Singapore time with your Full Name, Mobile Number and Test Name for Standard Entry payment procedure. Following payment to RELC EB, the Online Registration Form must be submitted by 12:00pm Singapore Time on this date. Candidates must submit their Access Arrangement Request (e.g. extra time, use of laptop) with supporting documents by this date.
02 October 2021 to 13 October 2021	Late Entry Payment must be made first via a physical AXS station, prior to submitting the Online Registration Form. After payment, the Online Registration Form must then be submitted to RELC EB by the next day.
14 October 2021	One Day before Closing of Late Entry Payment for Late Entry must be made first via a physical AXS station before 11.30pm Singapore time, on this date. After payment, the Online Registration Form must be submitted to RELC EB no later than 12.00pm Singapore time, on 15 October 2021.
15 October 2021	LAST DAY of Late Entry Email to RELC EB before 11.00am Singapore time with your Full Name, Mobile Number and Test Name for Late Entry payment procedure. Following payment to RELC EB, the Online Registration Form must be submitted by 12.00pm, Singapore Time on this date. NO Late Entry will be accepted after 12.00pm Singapore time this date. LAST DAY for Withdrawal All withdrawal requests must be submitted to RELC EB by 12.00 pm Singapore time, on this date. LAST DAY for Request of Refund of TMUA Standard Entry Fee All completed refund forms and relevant supporting document must be submitted to RELC EB by 12.00pm Singapore time, on this date. Only TMUA Standard Entry Fee is refundable. The Centre Administration Fee, TMUA Late Entry Fee and the Centre Late Fee are non-refundable and non-transferable. An administrative fee will apply for all refunds.
04 November 2021	TMUA takes place at 3.00 pm. (Test venue to be advised)
29 November 2021	TMUA Online Results Release Date Results will be released on this date via Cambridge Assessment Admissions Testing Metritests System. Results are not sent to institutions automatically. You need to select which institutions receive your results. Only share results with institutions/courses to which you have already applied or intend to apply via UCAS. Shared results that are not supported by a UCAS application will not be considered by any UK institutions.
06 December 2021	Candidate needs to contact Cambridge Assessment Admissions Testing directly for Appeal and Enquiries of TMUA results by this date.

Submission of Online Registration Form

Please submit the Online Registration Form to RELC EB by the next day after making payment via AXS station. (You must use a desktop/laptop with Chrome browser to access the Online Registration Form. Mobile phone and tablet are not supported.)

Important points to take note:

1. For payment made from 1 - 29 September and from 2 - 13 October before 11:30pm (Singapore Time), the Online Registration
Form must be submitted to RELC EB by the next day.
2. For payment made on 30 September 2021 and on 14 October 2021 before 11:30pm (Singapore Time), the Online Registration
Form must reach RELC EB no later than 01 October and 15 October 2021, 12:00pm (Singapore Time) respectively.
3. Payment via AXS stations will NOT be available on 1 October and 15 October 2021. Email to RELC EB before 11.00am (Singapore
time) on these two dates for payment procedure. Walk-ins will not be entertained.
Following payment to RELC EB, the Online Registration Form must be submitted before 12:00pm on 01 October 2021 (Singapore
time) to avoid late fee charges and before 12:00pm on 15 October 2021 (Singapore time) to avoid invalid registration.

The deadlines for payment are:

Standard Entry : 1 October 2021, 12:00pm
Late Entry : 15 October 2021, 12:00pm (Late fees will apply)

Registration will only be confirmed upon successful payment of the test to RELC EB AND upon receipt of relevant documents by RELC EB.

Note: There will be no refund of the total fees if candidates are found to be ineligible to register for the Test of Mathematics for University Admission through RELC EB.

Test fee consists of Standard Entry Fee, Centre Administration Fee and Late Entry fees (if payment is done during late registration period). For any withdrawal request submitted by 15 October 12:00pm Singapore Time, only Standard Entry Fee is entitled to a refund, subject to a SGD 53.50 admin processing fee. Please refer to Withdrawal and Refund section for more details.

Withdrawal and Refund

Test fee consists of Standard Entry Fee, Centre Administration Fee and Late Entry fees (if payment is done during late registration period).
For any withdrawal request submitted by 15 October 12:00pm Singapore Time, only Standard Entry Fee is entitled to a refund.
An administrative fee of SGD 53.50 inclusive of GST will apply for all refunds.
For withdrawal requests,
♦ Payment of refund will be made approximately three months after the date of submission of the withdrawal request.

♦ All refund requests and supporting documents that are required to be duly completed must reach RELC EB by 15 October
2021 12:00pm Singapore time. Any late or incomplete submission of the refund form and required supporting documents
will not be entertained and any payment made will be forfeited

♦ For withdrawal request, please email your Full Name, NRIC or Foreign Identification Number, contact number and a copy of
the payment receipt to caat@relc.org.sg.

♦ Any request for withdrawal submitted would be considered final and the entry will not be reinstated.
Refund will be reimbursed directly to the applicant’s nominated bank account through Electronic Funds Transfer.
No interest is payable on any sum owed or owing to the applicant
RELC EB reserves the right to offset the amount of any overpayment made in error against any liability of the applicant (including any future debt) that may be owing to RELC EB.
RELC EB reserves the right at any time to change the condition for refund without prior notice.

Documents to bring to the Test Venue

Preparing for TMUA

The focus of the Test of Mathematics for University Admission is on mathematical thinking.

It uses mathematics you will have already learned in your school studies, so there is no need to take a preparation course or to do much preparation beyond familiarising yourself with the test format and style of questions. We recommend that you read the test specification and answer the specimen papers under timed test conditions.

Scoring

There is no pass/fail for the Test of Mathematics for University Admission – you should simply aim to do the best you can.

Your final scores are based on the number of correct answers you give. There are no penalties for incorrect answers.

Your score on the test will be based on your overall performance on both papers and will be given on a scale of 1.0 to 9.0, with 1.0 being the lowest and 9.0 the highest. You will also be given a score for each of the two papers that make up the test, both on the 1.0 to 9.0 scale, but these two scores are for information only and do not form part of your formal test result.

Access Results & Institutions selection

Follow three easy steps:

Go to your Metritests account (log in details are on the Confidential Results Information sheet you will be given at the end of the test).
Sign in and click ‘Results’. You will be presented with a results table. In the results table, under ‘Receiving Institutions’, click ‘Select Institutions’.
Select the institution(s) you want to receive your results using the dropdown under ‘Institution Name’, then the degree(s) from the dropdown under ‘Course Details’, then click save. The institution will then automatically have access to your results once they are released.

If you do not make your selection using the Metritests system, your test results will not be provided to the institution.

Please note, once your results have been published you cannot remove an institution or course from the results website – the institution(s) will instantly receive your results.

Special Consideration

If candidates think that something might have affected their performance during their test, such as temporary illness, injury or problems with the administration of the test, candidates are able to apply for special consideration.
