This year, TMUA test is held on the same day as the GCE A-level Chemistry practical exam. Candidates who are taking the Chemistry practical exam are advised to register early and you must inform your schools if you are taking TMUA by 1st week of September 2023. Your school could then schedule you on an earlier slot for your Chemistry Practical exam.

RELC Examinations Bureau (RELC EB) has been appointed by Cambridge Assessment Admissions Testing to administer Test of Mathematics for University Admission for candidates currently attending or have graduated from a school/college/polytechnic in Singapore.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

♦ Universities and Colleges Admissions Service application (UCAS) is required for candidates wishing to apply to Universities that accept TMUA results.

♦ Candidates will have to enter your UCAS Personal ID on the RELC Online Registration Form. You can obtain the UCAS Personal ID by creating a UCAS account first at UCAS’s website. The UCAS Personal ID is used in matching candidates to their University application.

TMUA will be conducted via Paper-based in Year 2023.

♦ Candidates applying for Economics [L100] are now required to take Test of Mathematics for University Admissions (TMUA) as part of your application.

♦ Payment must be made first via a physical AXS station.

♦ After payment, the Online Registration Form must then be submitted to RELC EB by the next day. For payment made on 28 September, Online Registration Form must then be submitted to RELC on the same day.

Entries will not be accepted after this period.

LAST DAY for Modified Question Paper Request

Candidate has to submit their Access Arrangement Request for Enlarged Question Paper with supporting document by this date.

LAST DAY for Access Arrangement request

♦ Candidates must submit their Access Arrangement Request (e.g. extra time, use of laptop) with supporting documents by this date.

LAST DAY for Withdrawal

All withdrawal requests must be submitted to RELC EB by 5:00 pm Singapore time, on this date.

LAST DAY for Request of Refund of TMUA Standard Entry Fee

♦ All completed refund forms and relevant supporting documents must be submitted to RELC EB by 5:00 pm Singapore time, on this date.

♦ Only TMUA Standard Entry Fee is refundable. The Centre Administration Fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. 

 An administrative fee of SGD54.00 inclusive of GST will apply for all refunds.

TMUA Online Results Release Date

♦ Results will be released on this date via Cambridge Assessment Admissions Testing Metritests System.

♦ Results are not sent to institutions automatically except for University of Cambridge (you will need to indicate on the Online Registration form). You will need to use the Metritests system to select which institutions to receive your results.

♦ Only share results with institutions/courses to which you have already applied or intend to apply via UCAS. Shared results that are not supported by a UCAS application will not be considered by any UK institutions.

Note: There will be no refund of the total fees if candidates are found to be ineligible to register for the Test of Mathematics for University Admission through RELC EB or candidates have registered for the incorrect admission test.

Test fee consists of Standard Entry Fee and Centre Administration Fee. For any withdrawal request submitted by 28 September 2023, 5:00 pm Singapore Time, only Standard Entry Fee is entitled to a refund, subject to a SGD 54.00 inclusive of GST admin processing fee. Please refer to Withdrawal and Refund section for more details.

Withdrawal and Refund
  • Test fee consists of Standard Entry Fee and Centre Administration Fee.

  • For any withdrawal request submitted by 28 September 2023, 5:00pm Singapore Time, only Standard Entry Fee is entitled to a refund. There will be no refund of total fees even if you have registered for the incorrect admission test.

  • An administrative fee of SGD 54.00 inclusive of GST will apply for all refunds.

  • For withdrawal requests,

    ♦ Payment of refund will be made approximately three months after the date of submission of the withdrawal request.

     

    ♦ All refund requests and supporting documents that are required to be duly completed must reach RELC EB by 28 September 2023 5:00pm Singapore time. Any late or incomplete submission of the refund form and required supporting documents will not be entertained and any payment made will be forfeited

     

    ♦ For withdrawal request, please email your Full Name, NRIC or Foreign Identification Number, contact number and a copy of the payment receipt to caat@relc.org.sg.

     

    ♦ Any request for withdrawal submitted would be considered final and the entry will not be reinstated.

  • Refund will be reimbursed directly to the applicant’s nominated bank account through PayNow.

  • There will be no refund of any fees for withdrawal request submitted to RELC after 28 September 2023 5:00pm.

  • No interest is payable on any sum owed or owing to the applicant.

  • RELC EB reserves the right to offset the amount of any overpayment made in error against any liability of the applicant (including any future debt) that may be owing to RELC EB.

  • RELC EB reserves the right at any time to change the condition for refund without prior notice.
