RELC Examinations Bureau (RELC EB) has been appointed by Cambridge Assessment Admissions Testing to administer University of Oxford Admissions Tests for candidates currently attending or have graduated from a school/college/polytechnic in Singapore.

In partnership with the University of Oxford.

Cambridge Assessment Admissions Testing  is working with the University of Oxford to assist in the administration of its Classics Admissions Test (CAT), English Literature Admissions Test (ELAT), Geography Admissions Test (GAT), History Aptitude Test (HAT), Modern Languages Admissions Test (MLAT), Oriental Languages Aptitude Test (OLAT), Philosophy Test (PHIL), Physics Aptitute Test (PAT) and Thinking Skills Assessment (TSA)/Thinking Skills Assessment: Section 1 (TSA S1).

IMPORTANT NOTE:

  • Universities and Colleges Admissions Service application (UCAS) is required for candidates who wish to apply to University of Oxford for 2021 entry or deferred entry to 2022.

  • Candidates must submit UCAS application prior to registering for University of Oxford Admissions Test, as the UCAS Personal ID is used in matching candidates to their University application.

  • For the 04 and 05 November tests, they are going to be held in de-centralised locations at multiple venues. Therefore, it is not possible to accommodate candidates registering for two tests that fall on the same day.

  • Candidates do have the option to register for one test on each of the two days (i.e. one paper on 04 November and another paper on 05 November).

  • Cambridge Assessment has advised that the timings and the test dates for the BMAT and Other Admission Tests have been set globally, so it is with regret that RELC is unable to change the timings nor dates for these tests.

  • For TSA and TSA(S1), the computer-based test will be delivered using Mercer Mettl's platform, which is a browser-based system. There is no need to download specific software to access the tests. The format of this test will not change. The test will be delivered at the test venue (subject to the availability of the computers*). In addition, the test will be monitored using Mercer Mettl's internal systems to ensure the security and integrity of the test.

  • Candidates will be able to familiarise themselves with the test platform in advance, but as the test format itself remains the same, Cambridge Assessment Admissions Testing will not publish any additional practice tests.

  • Candidates will receive an email about the practice test from Cambridge Assessment Admissions Testing closer to the actual test.

  • For more information on Mercer Mettl’s platform, please click here.

  • For FAQ on computer-based, please click here.

* To be advised.
