Occupational English Test (OET) is an international English language test that assesses the language communication skills of healthcare professionals who seek to register and practise in an English-speaking environment. It provides a valid and reliable assessment of all four language skills – listening, reading, writing and speaking – with an emphasis on communication in healthcare professional settings.

In Australia, New Zealand and Singapore, OET is recognised by most major healthcare regulators for registration, leading healthcare educators for admission, and Border control for visas.
In Singapore, OET is accepted by the Singapore Medical Council, Singapore Dental Council, Singapore Pharmacy Council, and the Allied Health Professions Council.
OET is accepted by more than 30 Australian universities and TAFEs as proof of language proficiency for admission to healthcare courses. An increasing number of New Zealand universities and polytechnics are also accepting OET.
OET is recommended by past test takers because test materials reflect healthcare scenarios leading to confidence on test day.

Vending Machines that dispenses hot meals, salads, fruits, snacks and drinks are available on Level 1 lobby.
An overview of the test grades is available via candidate's online profile on the OET website, approximately 17 business days after each test day.
The Statement of Results shows the scores obtained at the most recent sitting, as well as scores for all sittings within the last two years. Results for the four sub-tests that make up the OET are reported as one of five grades – A (highest) to E (lowest).
Boards and councils can access results via the OET website. Registration authorities are advised to register for secure access to the site to check individual results – access to the online verification system is controlled by OET Centre management. To gain access, managers working for health profession Assessing/Registration Authorities apply for individual staff members to have secure access.
