Over a period of 40 years, SEAMEO RELC has served with distinction as Southeast Asia’s outstanding language teacher education institution. It trains key personnel identified by the governments and the leading institutions in the region.
The Centre is dedicated to the development of expertise and excellence in language teacher education and the promotion of international cooperation among language professionals. It publishes scholarly research and information materials to achieve these aims.
The RELC Journal is published by Sage on behalf of the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO) Regional Language Centre (RELC) located in Singapore. It presents information and ideas on theories, research, methods and materials related to language learning and teaching. The Journal welcomes contributions, as short research reports or viewpoint articles, related to the common professional concerns of both the practitioner and the researcher, providing a bridge between theory and practice
As part of our service to teachers and researchers, one section of the Journal will continue to be devoted to book reviews.
