The SEAMEO Regional Schools Internet Project, which started in 1998, is Singapore's contribution to education in the region and provides opportunities for interaction among students and language teacher participants. This is a forum for English language teachers of SEAMEO to discuss and exchange ideas relating to the teaching of the English language. The objective is to provide language specialists, teacher trainers and applied linguists in the region with a forum to discuss the learning and teaching of language. The forum will develop into a collection of views on important language issues in the region, such as the English language curriculum and language testing practices.
