TEACHER WORK ATTACHMENT (TWA)Last year (2006) the first batch of 16 Singapore teachers were specially selected to go on a TWA mission to share their knowledge and experiences with their counterparts in Cambodia and Vietnam. The teachers were selected for the TWA 2006 project jointly organized by the RELC Alumni (Singapore), SEAMEO RELC, and the Teachers’ Network (Ministry of Education Singapore). The teachers from a cross-section of schools in Singapore and the participating institutions of higher learning in Cambodia and Vietnam found their attachments in the different institutions and experiences enriching and rewarding. As the TWA (2006) had taken off on a good start, the RELC Alumni (Singapore) and, Teachers’ Network (Ministry of Education Singapore) will be organizing another attachment trip to Vietnam and Cambodia again. This time, two other member countries of SEAMEO have been added, namely, Myanmar and Laos. The following institutions that have indicated their interest in participating in the programme (barring any unforeseen circumstances) are listed below. Details of the institutions and/or schools that are involved, are not as yet available.
