By accessing the electronic versions of the journals subscribed to by the SEAMEO RELC Library, I am deemed to have read and accepted the following terms and conditions governing the access and use of the online journals.  I understand that these terms and conditions may change from time to time.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR ONLINE SERIALS ACCESS AND USE

1.         Only authorized users, namely staff and current course members of SEAMEO RELC, with access within SEAMEO RELC IP (Internet Protocol) range, are allowed to use the electronic versions of journals (referred to below as the ‘Materials’) subscribed to by the SEAMEO RELC Library.

2.         The Copyright Act (Cap. 63) (referred to below as the ‘Act’) applies to the whole SEAMEO RELC Library collection. The usage of materials/information retrieved from the Materials by users must abide by the conditions set out in the Act as well as any other copyright laws governing the Materials.

3.         Users of the Materials agree that:

(a)          Use of the Materials will be for the purpose of private research and study and not for resale or commercial gain and only single copies of articles will be downloaded, stored on a PC or printed out for private research and study.

(b)          They will not make the Materials available in any other form or medium or create derivative works without the written permission of the copyright holder;

(c)          They will not generate collections of the Materials or use any part thereof in multiple copies for group or class use without the written permission of the copyright holder;

(d)          They will not allow copies of the Materials to be stored or accessed by an unauthorized user; and

(e)          They will abide by the terms and conditions of the licensing agreement relating to the specific Materials that they are accessing.

4.         Violation of the Act is an offence in Singapore and the use of SEAMEO RELC facilities for illegal copying is a violation of the Act and SEAMEO RELC Rules and Regulations. SEAMEO RELC takes a serious view of copyright infringement. Anyone found violating copyright may face disciplinary action.

5.         No interlibrary loan is allowed for the Materials.
