Everybody needs English. A major world language, it is spoken by people from many countries and is used as a tool in international communication. Start your learning journey with us.

This is the course for you if:

• you already know some English

• want to understand other people better

• want to talk with more confidence

• need to write in simple English

This course is available at two levels:

• Level 1 : Elementary

• Level 2 : Intermediate

You will:

•  listen to and practice dialogues and conversations about everyday topics

•  learn more about English pronunciation

•  learn and practice new grammar, vocabulary and phrases

• get feedback from your lecturers 

• meet new people

Your interactive lessons include:

• language games

• role-plays

• group discussions

• dialogue practice

In addition to your lessons you will have unlimited access (subject to availability) to our computer laboratories during your course. Here you can do as much additional study as you want in your own time with our multi-media English programme.

• Level 1: You do not need a test
• Level 2: You need to take a short test

Participants who attend at least 75% of lessons will be awarded a Certificate of Attendance.

Accommodation is available at the RELC International Hotel.

You will buy a text and workbook on the first day of the course (approx S$60).

1.         Registration

 Please bring your Registration Form to the Language Education and Research Department (LER) Admin Office, Room 614, Level 6 or send completed registration form to:

2.         English Language Entry Tests

            For the English Language Entry Tests please come the LER Admin Office,  (Room 614, Level 6) at the following times.

 3.         Payment Procedures

 The Registration Form must be accompanied with full payment of fees by credit card or cheque. The payment will not be processed until the course is confirmed. Cheques will be returned / credit cards will not be charged if the course is not conducted due to insufficient number of registrants.

 4.         Public Holidays

Lessons that fall on public holidays are not made up.

 5.         Customized Courses

 We also conduct customized company-based courses. The course schedule can be arranged to suit the organization.
