Preparation for IELTS (Academic)

The IELTS examination is widely recognized for entry into educational institutions for courses conducted in English. Our short preparatory course is specially designed to help participants understand and do their best in this important examination.

This is the course for people who:

§         plan to take IELTS Academic in the near future

§         want to know more about the examination

§         need to practice some of the skills and techniques to succeed in the exam

Our course covers:

§         the exam papers and requirements

§         techniques and skills for the four exam elements

§         practice activities for reading, writing, listening and speaking

§         exam tips

In addition to lessons participants will have unlimited access (subject to availability) to our computer laboratories during the course. Here they can do as much additional study as they want in their own time with our multi-media English programme. This programme helps build  listening and speaking skills and develops grammar and vocabulary.

Approach ^TOP

The approach is very exam focused and participants will be involved in discussion and interactive activities and well as more individual practice.

Participants who attend at least 75% of lessons will be awarded a Certificate of Attendance
